(1) The parties who wish to resolve the dispute through a conciliation-related organization or a local body shall submit an application to such organization or local body in the format as per schedule-11 for that purpose.
(2) If the petition as per sub-rule (1) is given only by one of the parties to the dispute, the organization or local body that works on reconciliation shall send the petition to the other party who does not submit the petition related to the dispute within seven days of receiving the petition.
(3) If the other party to the dispute is not present within the period as per sub-rule (2) or if they do not agree to resolve the dispute through the conciliation process, the organization or local body that performs reconciliation shall decide that the proceedings initiated in relation to the settlement of such dispute have ended.
